Larry the Adventure Gek had explored many strange and wonderful worlds in his travels across the galaxy, but none quite like the viridescent world he stumbled upon during his Distant World Tour. As he landed his Star Chaser on the planet's surface, he was immediately struck by the beauty of the glowing plants and mushrooms that covered the landscape. Every color of the rainbow was on display, and Larry couldn't help but marvel at the sheer diversity of life on this planet.
As he wandered through the forests and fields, Larry felt like he was walking through a fairy tale. The glowing flora seemed to come alive around him, casting a soft, ethereal light that made everything seem magical. He took countless photos and videos, knowing that this was a world he would always be special for him.
As the day wore on, Larry realized that the sun was beginning to set. He had been so absorbed in exploring the world that he hadn't noticed the passing time. As he looked up at the sky, he saw that the colors were beginning to shift and blend together, creating a kaleidoscope of light that he had never seen before.
Then, in the distance, he saw it: a city made entirely of color. It was situated atop a distant hill, and it seemed to shimmer and pulse with a life of its own. Larry knew that he had to investigate, so he set off towards the city.
As he approached, he realized that the city was even more magnificent up close. It was made entirely of glass, but each pane was tinted a different color. The effect was mesmerizing, and Larry couldn't help but stare in awe.
He pushed open the city's massive doors and stepped inside. The interior was just as magnificent as the exterior, with each room bathed in a different hue. As he explored, Larry realized that this was a city unlike any other. It seemed to exist purely for the sake of beauty, and he couldn't help but be inspired by its splendor.
As he prepared to leave, Larry realized that this world was one that he would never forget. It was a place where wonder and beauty coexisted in perfect harmony, and he knew that he would always cherish the memories he had made here. With a smile on his face, he set off back to his Star Chaser, ready for whatever the galaxy had in store for him next.

Hi there! I’m Kim aka SparkleRain aka ThinkingViolet. Building in No Man’s Sky is steadily helping me remember the side of me I like most. For many years the sunny creative sector of me ended up mostly buried. At times I feared it was lost. But now when I build in NMS I feel a wonderful flow state that shines light and breathes life into that long-neglected space inside of me. As Alice Walker said so well: “Whenever you are creating beauty around you, you are restoring your own soul.”
I’m so happy to have one of my coffee shops featured in the Anomaly at present. I love the friendly and helpful NMS community and especially the Qitanian Empire - they’ve become my tribe.
